Thai Steamed Herbed Mussels


2.00 kg mussels
1.00 cup basil leaves
Green onions

----dipping sauce-----
0.50 cup lemon juice
1 lemon grass optional
2.00 tablespoon fish sauce
1.00 teaspoon sugar
2.00 coriander leaves chopped
3.00 cl garlic
1.00 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Open the mussels by steaming them along with the basil and green onions. Blend the ingredients for the sauce with enough warm water to make a dipping sauce and serve with the mussels.
